As I was considering building my next NPW9b I was contacted by
Uwe Rex (http://www.tenforward.de/) in Germany. Since we were both interested in building the same kite
we decided to build them "together" and exchange findings.

02-12-03 Made the template for the wing panels.
Ran out of cardboard for the center template. WIDE! - 0:15/0:152/14/03 Center template, made new bridle board and
tested the fid. I wanted to use Tom's bridal board as he
designed it. Could not find piano wire at any hobby stores
in our area; using a 0.01 guitar string (95 cents) that is working great. 0:30/0:452/15/03 Cut fabric, built left wing 1:15/2:002/15/03 Built right wing. Wings done. 0:45/2:452/16/03 Built center panel. Attached wings. Flat sail done. 0:50/3:35

Meet Uwe Rex
Uwe is from Duisburg, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany. He enjoys buggying
and builds NasaWing kites. "I have started buggying in 1999 with an homemade buggy
by an friend and an home made NPW5/LK175. It makes a lot
of fun to feel the wind in the kite an to drive with an
buggy with about 35 up to 45 km/h over the beach.
My first time in a kite buggy was on a great parking
lot at Warner Bros. Movie World in Bottrop-Kirchhellen.
The wind was about 5 - 6 bft. and it was really exciting.
I will use the NPW9b for buggying. From end of april to mid.
of may I'll spent my holidays in Denmark on the island
Roemoe. I hope i can test the NPW9b extremley ;-)"
