The NasaWing kite has proven to be everything everyone said it would be. I have enjoyed
building them as much as flying them. I found that people that thought kites were boring
or for kids were pleasantly surprised when they flew the NasaWing. Even my son gladly took
one back to fly at his Army base.
You can see more about my Eagle and Flag NasaWings by clicking on their pictures above. Here
are some pictures of some of my other NPWs:

The "Super Chute" was my first NPW. It is only 0.4m2 and cost about $30. I bought it to take traveling. It will not fly in low winds. Fun!

I found info on these kites on the web (Here) and
built this one, a 2.4m2. Building was easier that I thought it would be.

It flew without problem the first time.
The first time a strong gust came up, it pulled me about 10' on the field before I could get stopped.

It was easy to fly. I started using only two flying lines. First task was to make some comfortable handles. The straps I was using hurt!

Seeing this kite fly is quite impressive. I know it looks like a lot of lines, but with a little care it was not a big project.

This second NPW5 was a Christmas gift. I have never had the bridle lines tangle, but always tie them as soon as I detach them from the flying lines.

Taking my kites traveling was always a challenge until I started building NPWs. This 2.4m2 could be folded even smaller and is very light.

The third, another 2.4m2. Lots of people liked the colors. It too flew great without any adjustments. Notice my grandson.

I live in a city surrounded by mountains. My flying areas are baseball and soccer fields. The wind is always unsteady and gusty.

I use 100 foot dacron lines to fly with. I even used braided nylon builders line for a while. Someone suggested using longer lines to try to find smoother air.

Even a 2.4m2 NPW can catch people's eye as you fly. Not many people have seen a kite like it. I decided with this one to try some designs on my next one.

My fellow internet NPW flyers kept urging me to fly 4 lines. I made some handles and WOW it was like a new kite. Lots more control. I fly them all 4-line now.
