This is me and my grandson Ethan, flying a 2.4m2 NasaWing (1/2002). For quite a while, every time
he would see me he would say "Papa, fly kite?".

Took a tandem Paraglider flight 10/20/02. Talk about a big kite! AWSOME!

Kites provide me with opportunities to enjoy flying, to be creative,
to solve problems and to share with others. Of all the many hobbies I have tried, kites has
been the most rewarding and enduring.

I started building kites in the spring of 1999. I knew knothing about sewing and started with my
wife's machine. I enjoy the building as much as or more than the flying.
I purchased a small 2-line kite in a pouch (called a Super Chute) on a business trip in spring of 2000.
I hadn't be able to bring any of my kites and though it would allow me to fly
while traveling. It turned out to be a 0.4m2 NasaWing. In fall of 2001 I found
plans on the Internet and built my first NasaWing kite. I've been hooked
on them ever since.
