The 3.4mē NPW9b Flys!!!

Date: 4/2/2003

* Wide Center Panel, B=(A/100)*66
* Cascade Bridling
* 3.4mē Sail, A=150 cm, LK200
* Initial Mod: T=(A/100)*6.3=9.4

I finished building the kite and then it became impossible to fly it for six weeks. But it was worth the wait. This kite surely is big enough to pull me on something (next project?).
This is the largest NasaWing I have flown to date. It's pull is AMAZING! Flys in lighter wind too!

First Impressions:
This kite flew well the first time. It would go to almost directly overhead. We had a couple of moderate gusts and it was all I could do to hang on. It is considerably slower than my 1.5m^2 NPW9b (perhaps this is normal). Next: see if bridal adjustments results in performance increase.
