NPW9b Wins in Competition at M.I.K.E.

My wife Cindy and I attended the 2003 Maryland International Kite Exposition
(M.I.K.E.) and brought along the project NPW9b. This was our first kite festival
and kitebuilding competition. Even though the kite was mistakenly expected to fly
like the stunt delta also in the multi-line category, we still won the highest score for a novice in
the entire competition.

What fun to be flying the NPW9b with
the "big guys". Ours was the only NPW I saw there, in fact
very few power kites at all. The judges seemed quite interested
in the design. Cindy got some great pics.
